I love everything about skincare, and look forward to expanding my knowledge in the beautification of the skin. I am very excited to begin my journey at Palmetto Roots Salon! Everyone is inviting, kind, helpful, and a wonderful team, that I can’t wait to call family. Growing up, I was always interested in taking care of my skin, and it seemed like every other day someone was telling me “how beautiful my skin is.” There were even  times I wished to help others who seemed to be struggling with their skin, but wasn’t sure how to approach them on the matter. I only desired, to put a smile on their face, boost their confidence, and show them that it wasn’t impossible to obtain the results they sought. I had researched many things about the skin, watched all sorts of videos, tried different products, and filled my head with as much knowledge that I had available to me. It also helped that my mom is a nurse, and my aunt was in pharmaceuticals at the time. I was able to ask them a lot of questions that dealt with the skin, but in a different context, as they held that knowledge from education and experience. I realized I wanted to make a difference, and not just in my own skin. I decided to then change my career path and go into Esthetics, so that I could see that smile that I so longed for on others. It has been the best choice I have ever made, and I believe it is truly a calling from God, and I couldn’t of done this without Him. I can’t wait to see what the future holds….
